What must be one of the most popular Qt apps for Symbian and Harmattan users, 4squick – Qt based, 3rd party Foursquare client, has come a long way since it was released a couple of months ago. Apart from being the fastest foursquare client around, the app has bought Symbian and Harmattan users, features that the official Foursquare app is still missing.

With the latest version 0.95 which is now available for download, you can take a picture of the venue you’re at and upload together with your checkins to foursquare, and since Nokia cameras are way better than any other vendors’ out there, the developers decided to up the resolution a bit. While the official iPhone app uploads only 720px photos, 4squick does it in a glorious 960px fashion.

All you need to do to update to v0.95, is click on “Check for updates” from your 4squick app or head to their download page to get yours today – the update is available for both Symbian and Harmattan devices.

Here is the official changelog for v0.95:

- Upload photo to venues, check-ins and tips
- Upload photo to a tip you wrote earlier
- Show tip photos
- Minor modifications and bug fixes

And a few screenshots of how to add your pictures to your checkins:

So what are you waiting for?? If you havent tried 4squick yet – just click HERE to download and install to start enjoying the best of what the app has to offer you.

4squick also recomends that you have an unlimited data plan before you start going crazy uploading all those pictures, could be expensive other wise.
