Last week it was reported by a number of websites that the long awaited AudioBoo app for Symbian^3 devices had landed on Nokia’s on line Ovi Store. Unfortunetly this app for some unknown reason was only made available in the UK. After investigating this further, I finally received a confirmation from AudioBoo themselves today which reads as follows:
“From: markrock
Subject: AudioBoo app for Symbian^3 devices
Hi
For some reason Nokia only released it for the UK. They have agreed to extend it worldwide now, so bear with us.
/M”
Good news, as there are many users out there that are waiting eagerly to install this app on their devices.
For those of you that haven’t had a taste of this service, let me tell you quickly a little about it – AudioBoo is an app for recording and sharing your voice on your social networks like Facebook, Twitter. The service is free and allows you create up to 5 minutes of audio, it also allows you to add titles, tags and connect with Ovi Maps.

We will keep you updated when we know more, but please do let us know if and when the app is available in your country, just pop by and drop a short comment below letting us know so that we can track the app’s on-line availability.
The current download link for the UK is http://store.ovi.com/content/80531, whether it will remain the same for the rest of the countries is still unconfirmed, but I would presume so.

*****UPDATE 3rd March 2011*****
Reports have started to trickle in today and it seems that the AudioBoo app is now starting to appear on the Nokia Ovi Store world wide, so if you have been waiting like me, jump in – download the app and start Booing – the download link above is the same and hasn’t changed
Don’t forget to let us know what your thoughts are on this great new app after you have installed it. We are going to give it a real work through and will be doing a review on it in the next couple of days, so stay tuned.
