Firmware Update V31.0.005 for Nokia 5530.

Nokia 5530 has received a firmware upgrade this weekend, to version 31.0.005. The update is available via Over the Air (OTA) or you can update via Nokia software updater. Below an indication of the changes you can expect.

Changes in this update include:

  • Browser experience improved.
  • Fixed: Issues with Chinese characters.
  • Menu improved.
  • Fixed: Dictionary application can’t be activated by voice command.
  • Problem resolved: phone hang when listening to the radio.
  • Fixed: some date & clock issues
  • FOTA feature improved.

    Remember that although the Nokia 5530 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), it is always recommended that you backup your data before you update your device with the new firmware.
