Nokia have recently launched the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type in Gold, well 18 carat gold plated, with a 1GHz processor bringing a faster and smoother user experience to the end user. The original C3-01 was launched in September last year during Nokia World in London, the device was well recieved amongst the Nokia Community being not only an affordable but reliable device for many.
The dimensions, weight and hardware, accept for the processor, are the same in both models. Software wise, you’ll find Nokia Messaging for email and IM functionality and Nokia Communities for checking into Facebook and Twitter. And of course, there’s Ovi Store for downloading extra apps and games. New to this device is the Nokia Series 40 browser, for fast web access without high data use charges.
The device has already started shipping to Eastern European and Middle Eastern markets, and will extend to more in coming weeks, and, without local taxes or operator subsidies, will cost around €220. For more info and specifiction on the device, head over to the Nokia.com website.
