Normally we don’t post on rumours or speculations but I had to make an exception on the following video that the folks over at Pocket Now released late yesterday afternoon, although there is no official confirmation from Nokia as to the validity of the video, it does look real and the sneak peak that we get from the Teaser Ad, of what seems to be the long awaited N9/N950 has sparked a renewed excitement amongst Nokia Fans around the world.

It is clear from the short teaser that the Nokia device ports a Carl Zeiss 12MP AF 2.8/28mm lens with a Dual LED flash, QWERTY slide keyboard, and an all new MeeGo UI very similar to that of the awaited Symbian Anna which is expected to be released sometime next month for Symbian^3 devices. The devices display looks like a 4″ screen but I could be wrong – more than that is not known.

Rumours of the N9/950 started last year shortly after the Nokia World event in London, with numerous pictures being leaked on the internet. No one was ever sure what was in the pipeline and speculation continued over the coming months of what the device could and could not port. In February of this year, Nokia’s CTO Rich Green mentioned during his key note speech at the Developers Day Workshop at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, that Nokia would indeed launch the N950 later this year – Nokia’s first and probably only MeeGo device – he did not elaborate any further.

Last week the N9/950 made the news once again with reports that Nokia had applied for certification of the device at the FCC, documents available on their website are a little vague as Nokia has also applied for a 45 day confidentiality period on the documents, so I guess that we will have to wait for those 45 days before we will know more, who knows, maybe Nokia will surprise us………??

Well any way, enough of speculations and lets take a look at the video from Pocket Now:

Excited?? Well I sure am and can’t wait to get my hands on one :)
