That’ right folks, Nokia Ovi this evening released a new Ovi store app update V2.04.00038 bringing a number of fixes and enhancements to S60v5, S40 and Symbian^3 devices. The client upgrade which is the largest to date at 4.75MB is mandatory for all affected devices, mainly the S60v5 and Symbian^3 units.
So what does this new update have in stall for us? Lets take a look:
• Full Arabic Support.
• Installation support for Qt based apps and numerous fixes to the Store client on the Symbian^3 family of devices (this being the biggest update since the first Symbian^3 device – the N8, was released)
• A Search fix for more relevant searches on all platforms
• A Bug fix for TMO US E72 Customers
That’s the app, the store itself has also been updated with search indexing which will enhance the users experience which is expected to impact downloads and revenue. Further details available over at Ovi Publish.
