Nokia’s CEO – Stephen Elop has been having his hands full with interviews, talks and meetings since Fridays announcement in London, to reassure investors, staff, developers and users alike that the new multi-billion dollar platform partnership with Microsoft is indeed a winning one. Although market shares still haven’t recovered since Friday, they have stabilised and indications are that people are starting to build confidence once again in Nokia.
This morning while I was catching up on what the press and blogging sphere have been saying about this year’s MWC in Barcelona, I came across an interesting interview conducted by Engadget’s Chris Ziegler yesterday with Stephen Elop, where he he talks more about the new partnership which I thought would be interesting to share with you. The short 10 minute interview, covers a number of important issues ranging from – what incentive there is for the public to buy Symbian smart-phones, whether MeeGo is a backup plan for Nokia to when the first Nokia WP is expected to be launched.
So grab a coffee and check the video out after the break:
Hope that this video has helped share more light on this matter, with regards to the new ecosystem platform proposed.
